Help Quick

Since, Im going to bed soon and need to know the answer ASAP. I thought I'd post this over here as well. Im going to get my exhaust done tomorrow, y-pipe delete, running true duals except keeping my cats with two Flowmaster 40s now heres the dilemia. Do you think a x-pipe or h-pipe is needed? and how much extra do you think it'll be? Thanks guys!

Yes you should. More power, nicer sound, makes for a nice balanced system. There not expensive, the tubes themselves anyways, depends on who you're working with.
I believe x is preferred, h will do though.

Has anybody actually seen any dyno numbers for claims of power with H or X pipes?
Honestly unless you are useing poor quality mufflers or cats with low tolerances. Or if you have a weak bank on the engine, then they should be close to equal pressure. Do you really want to slap a band aid on a weak bank, especially if power is your concern? The only thing I can see it doing is causing turbulance, actually reducing flow which reduces power.

Plus for trouble shooting problems, you can easily narrow a miss fire, etc, etc down to 1 of 4 cyls. if you have tru duals with no cross over.

Just my unprofessional ponderings.....

Just put a "true-dual" muffler on and you wont have to worry about it. I bet you save a grunt of money. I spent 80 bucks on my magnaflow DI/DO with a built in X-pipe. Im sure if you want it louder other companies make an actual true dual muffler. That would only make sense to me is to get a true dual muffler if your running a true dual system
