Anyone out there??

I've been tasked with passing on a message. . .

Kobi says:

Say Hi to everyone for me, PSSMag, Raoul, (yourself), Buck, and others. If you could, tell PSSMag I'll be back in the Ozarks in August probably.

Hi Kobi

Where's he hiding out? Is this a tax dodge or something?

Kobi replied on here just a few days ago to a thread. Why couldn't he just say hi to everyone?

I guess I'm an 'other'.

Kobi - did you go to NAB this year? Where are you?!

Thank you for passing on that message, Rose.

As it turns out, I ended up back home much sooner than expected. Only made it half way to my destination before being called back. The upside is that big things may soon be happening. The downside is I am in Lost Angeles again.

Such is the price of . . . such things.

Been home for a couple of days now and have started to write some on the forum. Amazingly, I have not forgotten how to type (or use photoshop for that matter).

As for responding to Qs in this thread:

Hey Adam. I was across the channel from you at one point. It was not a tax dodge (although I'll have to keep that in mind), it was more along the lines of 'something".

Uh . . . because I was pressed for time? Not actually true, but it sounds good. In fact, I was figuring that I would be soon leaving and didn't want to say "Hi" as I didn't think I would be back for a long time. Then right before I left I felt that was rude so asked Rose to say Hi. Admittedly, it comes across as, at worst, somewhat retarded, at best somewhat rude. My apologies.

D . . . You're not an "other" and neither is Vader, and the undoubted dozens of you I forgot to mention by name. I had not had coffee, and those of you who know me know that my brain does not function without it. I have also learned that trying to list names only results in one or more (usually more) being accidently left out. We're never doing that again.

In response to your question, no, I did not go to NAB. As it were, I never ended up doing Flame and Inferno work and decided not to return to the world-o-post-production. Besides, I hate Vegas. That place gives me the creeps. All my old friends and associates were there though, and none of them had a good thing to say, and returned exhausted. Yuck.

As for where I am, I'm now home. When you wrote that question, I was probably somewhere over Kansas.

Having been gone for a couple months and now reading over this forum, I see not much has changed other than y'all have become a bit more self-obsessed which is impinging on MY territory (so watch it).

Other than that, seems to be the same old - same old. How much you paying of gas . . . can someone run a carfax . . . anyone think this is a scam . . . I'm sleeping on the couch and I don't understand why . . . blah, blah, blah.

Come on kids . . . spice it up, would ya?

K

Hiya Kobi

Glad to have you back again but sorry you're stuck in the city. Not much happening here as you can read. I think spring fever is beginning to wreak havoc on our beloved forums

I know our weather has me outside playing in the dirt every day!! Just itching to actually plant all my pretty little plants but I know the minute I do they'll all be frozen off. Gotta hold off for a few more weeks in this neck of the woods.

Hope you're around for a while, I miss your bones!

Yo Kobi Dude!

You've already seen the latest and not so greatest in my life at the moment in my thread. Not a shining moment for my character.
Spice???? I don't think that I want any more spice...

Other than that just been working on the boat, had it out once already, but has been raining almost non stop. You need to visit more often, after you left, it started raining atleast everyday and was raining for about 2 weeks non stop. No more drought that's for sure. Several storms have been like monsoons. I've lived here my entire life and have never seen it like this. Lakes and rivers are back up and many are about to come out of thier banks.
Yard work is now non stop. I dont know how much gas I've put trough the lawn mower so far, but everything is so lush and pretty now.

I am hoping to get the interior of the boat done today, after church (I promised my mom I'd go for her) weather permitting I'll work on the boat this afternoon. (Although it is getting cloudy... ) There is just a handfull of pieces left to build. Maybe if weather and schedules allow us to. Then we can take it out Memorial weekend.
