I do not know if in fact Andy Rooney actually made the following statement, It was e-mailed to me buy a friend. I'm also not sure if my friend knew if in fact the following statements were indeed made by Andy Rooney. The point is, just read the damn thing if your interested.

Andy Rooney did not make any such comments on 60 Minutes, in fact he specifically refuted that those comments came from him ON 60 minutes.

But that's not as good as some of the other hoaxes I've seen lately. We just had the "6' Mountain Lion" makes the rounds around here, the one that has been shot in about 12 states and by at least as many hunters.

 

I don't freakin care if I got "gumped", what ever the hell that means. Who really cares if Andy Rooney did or didn't make the comments?

Try reading the words, instead of just looking at them. Its not about Andy Rooney.

I got the same e-mail also, attributed to Andy Rooney. It's been going around for a while now, and how should I (or anyone else) know if he said it or not?

But then we all have a tendency to want to believe things that seem right to us. I agree with a lot of what's in that email, may not have worded it that way, but I'm a cynical gnostic, I question everything.
