Shooter Jennings

Haven't heard much on the radio as far as songs go, but did anyone pick up his new release Electric Rodeo? Been thinking of picking it up. My co-worker at umvd gave a sampler with two songs that are great. I knew Shooter was the son of Waylon but I didn't even realize his mother is Jessi Colter.

His song "4th of July" got a lot of play around Texas.

That song got a lot of play here too, and I remember it being in the CMT Top 20 for a while...I'd imagine it'll start playing again around the end of June...

I saw him in Mobile last week. Just happened to be at a bar he was playing at. It was kinda hush-hush I guess. Small crowd but a good show. I don't care for his look too much, but his music is growing on me. I am a die hard country listener.

I liked "Put the 'O' Back in Country" better, but Electric Rodeo isnt bad either (of course, this is IMO).
