Last night I happened to notice that the tub drains counter clockwise but the other sinks drain clockwise. I know that in the northern hemisphere due to the rotation and gravitional pull of the earth, water drains clock wise in the north and counter clockwise in the south.

Any one else have a backwards sink?

 

This has little or nothing to do with the coriolis effect and everything to do with the shape and orientation (level or not) of your sinks and tub:
