Is this bad?
Kinda', but not really. I can't draw either, but I've taken several drafting classes and haven't had a problem. I believe that it's easier for me because I'm more mechanically inclined than artistically inclined, and drafting is all about mechanics. Architecture is similar, but there is some free hand involved. You'll get good with practice.

You don't have to be able to draw to be an architect. Like they said before, most of the work is done using AutoCAD. If you can move a mouse and trace lines from a t-square, triangle, and other guides you'll be fine.
Or you could just go to work for the firm that designs Wal-Marts and other "big box" stores -- you don't have to be a particularly great artist to draw a big, square building with two large sets of glass doors in the front!
same thing but diffrent...
i flat out failed general math in high school..

master machinist /welder now..
i can do machine trig. in my head...
and i work with numbers all day long...

I couldn't draw a stick man when I was in grade 11. I took architectural drafting and did well enough that when I handed in my final assignment, I easily got 100%. So, my Uncle who was a building contract company owner took a look at the plans and actually made only a couple of changes ( floor beam dimensions) and built the house in Kingston. I saw it about 5 yerars after he built it and it was a thrill to see something I had designed from my own head turned into a real house with people living in it. I got to tour the place with the owners and it was amazing.
Being in construction and having worked with achitects, sometimes the fastest way to do on site changes with clarity is with a fast field sketch or marking up construction drawings.
But sounds like you are getting good sound advice. Good luck with your career choice.

Yeah, architecture is more math and creative thinking (efficient space design etc) I can't draw to save my life either but I can whip out a house on Autocad or a drafting arm without a problem. Kinda wish I would have went that direction myself instead of Electrical Engineering. Meh, maybe when I get my *** back to school someday.

Might want to look into civil. While our buildings aren't as pretty, at least they stay up! Plus you will be introduced to a lot of different things besides just buildings. Good luck.
