Well, 120 PCs and a new (NETWORK) backbone later and here I be... Still ironing out minor details with the PCs, but all in all everything went LIKE BUTTAH...

Damn PCs beep at you if you disable the soundcards, so I gotta dig into the BIOS to see if I can disable the system beeps. It's really annoying. That (so far) is the major gripe, but they're all happy campers, seeing how the last new PCs were about 4-5 years ago and were real dogs.


So, what'd I miss? Did LT finally post a pic? Any new hotties? How much fresh meat do we have? Is Mountaineer any smarter (DOUBTFUL, especially after seeing the thread title about "Stop, Drop, and Roll" not working... I'm skeered to open that one.) Is Dzervit back?

I have been gone for so long, I didnt even know you was out.

Yeah, been so busy at work that I didn't have time to get on here and too damn tired once I got home. I think my sleep patterns are starting to get a little closer to normal now, after a few weeks of working any an all types of hours for the two deployments... Lots of OT, but still not enough to get anything for the truck... Dang it!!!

 

Its been slow....other than a few of us constantly ripping on each other because we got nothing else to do...

I should be preparing for a presentation tonight at school but bah....cant get into it.

Oh and give your users the use of a freaking sound card....man you're mean...

 

Everyone is on the phone and they sit in close proximity, so sound cards are out. It's a call center. If they had cubicals, I would give them all sound...

I only do as I'm told.

 

Although I have to admit... The power I have over this place...

I also locked down their desktops. They can make all the changes they want, but when they reboot, it goes back to MY setup!!! Mwahahahahaha...

 

Yea I gave them sound cards but with internal chasis speakers so it isnt really loud.

They got upset when I controlled their home page....

maybe I'll screw with them and set their wallpaper.
