Get rid of truck to save gas?

It only makes sence to buy something more efficient if you have a long *** commute. It will pay for itself in the long run and you will have something to show for your hard earned money instead of giving it to the oil companies... its now an asset, while it may not be worth much its still better than an empty gas can... I filled up the lawn tractor today it was 14.25

i puked in my mouth a bit and spotted...

I agree with UrbanCowboy, for two reasons:
A) I have a beater for work and I hate driving it everywhere except when I am filling up at the pump and
B) How many people do you think are pounding down the doors to buy less fuel efficient vehicles right now?

Everything is a cycle, if you really want to sell the truck, at least wait until the demand is higher.

On a funny note, I saw a guy trying to sell a '91 Civic hatch for $5k, lol.

$3.26 gal here in CT, just put $40.00 in and got half a tank!! Still not going to give up my truck!!
