Well, if I'm makin the drinks we do a couple rounds of watermelon martini's (I tend to go heavy on the vodka though). Then we'll follow that up couple Goldshlogger shots. After that you won't care what we're drinking & thats when the fun begins.

At least this combination worked on New Year's Eve & at our "horray the auction's over" party. And the next morning was just a slight headache.

Sounds like a party to me!

Not worried about headaches, I dont get hangovers.... never have.

I've drank until I passed out in mid sentence as I was walking across my buddies yard. They were ready to take me to the hospital for alcohol poisining. I'd had 5th of vodka straight plus bonged a 6 pack 2 hours prior and had drank bottled beer til I passed out. (Dang Women will make a heart broke man do stupid things) Couple lady friends stopped drinking to stay up with me all night to make sure I kept breathing while I slept. Next morning I was fine and ready to drink again.

Of course that was a few years ago. I don't drink near as often now. Now I'd pass out at a 5th of anything.

All I know is hubby gets happy when I tell him I'm planning on making watermelon martinis (he was going to buy me a bottle of the mix for Easter). I mentioned maybe making them for the after party from my son's bnirthday party & my sister said she was going to bring the fresh watermelon. She got slammed with me New Year's Eve (her boyfriend was thanking me the next day too, except she did get sick when they got home).
