Some loser around here has a ridgeline with a sticker made to look like the FX4 sticker that is HX4 and then in small print underneath it, it says something like "extreme 4x4" or something like that. He did put on some BFG All Terrain TA's though. Maybe he's on to something.....

They call it a truck, but it has a transverse mounted engine, also the body is one piece, not a separate truck box.
I would take a red blooded V8 powered FORD Sport Trac anyday over that Japanese brand wanna be truck. They do not even have four wheel low, how serious of a truck could it be, really.......

A friend of mine traded his 2500 GMC in on a Ridgeline not too long ago. I can't see myself owning one, but aside from the fell-out-the-ugly-tree-and-hit-every-branch-on-the-way-down looks, it's not a bad little ride. Honda put some thought into it and for the average guy who doesn't use their trucks like Ford, GM and Chrysler show in the commercials, it's a perfectly fine vehicle.

It's a Honda, so all you really have to do is change the oil once in a while and put gas in it. All the buttons and switches are stupidly easy to comprehend. The biggest thing I can't accept and what surprised me the most was the fuel mileage. He said he was only averaging about 15 mpg in that thing city and highway, worse than my F150.

I think the problem is people are comparing it to half ton pickups, which it ain't a comparison to despite what their owners and what Honda says.

Hello, IT'S FRONT WHEEL DRIVE! That thing is about as close to a truck as an El Camino. Their 4WD option is just all wheel drive. That thing would sink in the mud faster than the Titanic. And that guy in the Ridgeline forum bent his frame and rippled his body by driving through this...

Anything with a uni-body has no business claiming it's a real truck in my opinion.

Oh thats funny!!! Ridgeline envy ROFLMAO!!!! These guys are tools, the one posting the question traded a 150 for it. They talk about how "rigid" the "truck" is than talk about how he leaned against it and put a dent in it.

I almost busted a gut laughing so hard when some clown accused the guy of abusing his "4WD" vehicle driving it through that dip.

No offense intended, but if you don't like the thread don't read it. We haven't broke any rules and apparently some of us either haven't had this conversation or still had stuff to say.

That trunk is a brilliant idea........

LOL, Kool Aid. You crack me up!

Well, me thinks it is because when they read the instructions at the assembly plant, they read them backwards like they read/write in Japanese...

Ridgeline Owners Club?

The name says it all. Ridgeline Owners CLUB. Can we form a club too? We could wear hats and gloves, sip tea, eat watercress sandwiches, etc.
I'm sorry, but it just adds to the wimpiness of the whole idea. Thanks for the link bigdaddyII. I'm about to bust a spring from laughing after reading that crap.
By the way, what the hell is a "steel reinforced composite cargo bed"? It's PLASTIC! Now I know where those body wrinkles came from.

If you can only believe 1/2 o what you read in a magazine, then you should only believe 0.0001% of what you read online.

The post could have been, and probably is, 100% bullschyt.

The frame that the unibody is built on, is 2.5 times stronger than any ladder-framed, light duty truck on the market. Common ignorance has many believing the Ridgeline, Pilot and MDX are the same truck, the MDX and Pilot pretty much are, but the Ridgeline, while similar, is not- it's stronger, and more durably built that the MDX and Pilot; which is saying something..

No, it won't yank 10,000 pounds, but, who gives a crap? If you hual that much weight, you're "vehicularly-challenged" by owning an F-150 anyway; it might be a better idea to get an even "realer" truck, like the F-250 or an F-350 dualie...

And, I haven't washed my 2006 F-150 yet, but I leaned against my 2001's front fender and put a dent in it... I was pissed, not to mention stunned, but, as I eased off of it, it popped back into shape...

That was very "Saturn" of my tough-as-nails F-150, if you asked me...

I thought these things looked like little Chevy Avalanches. I've only seen one around here in my area lately.
Oh man, after reading that thread I feel like I have to break out the chain saw and do some manly stuff.

I thought Titan owners were wimpy and uptight.....these guys take the cake.
