Well I guess I'm odd...
This year I didnt go to church
I dont dress up anymore than I normally do when I do go. (Today actually less, just shorts and pull over shirt, incase we get done eating and shooting the crap with family in time to go to the lake for another cruise. Would probably take most of them if I do anyway.
Most of the ones that I will see today... we hang out, go boating, camping, play baseball, volleyball, etc etc thru out the rest of the year too anyway.

This is just one of the annual reasons for a family pot luck, which we all like... We don't really need a reason for us to have one, just an execuse.

Tomarrow I'll be posting in the fat bastrad thread.... LMAO

Yep -- Easter definitely has the least appealing cuisine of any major Holiday for me.

No matter how you cook a ham, it's not as decadent as a Thanksgiving turkey, a Christmas roast, or even a 4th of July barbeque.....

Any math geniuses here want to do the exam for me? I'll let you drive my truck

It's 10:00 PM and my day is just ending.
Getting ready to jump in the shower.
Went to parents and had lunch all afternoon.
One of those lunches that start at noon and end at 5:00
Then after the kids easter egg hunt, we stood around shooting the breeze?
Then invited my cousin, his wife and kids over to watch a movie.
Instead they wanted to see what I'd done to the boat, then she got started cleaning it to prep it for a wax job. Next thing you know we are all in cleaning, another Friend came and she jumped in too.... next thing you know the 5 of us have the entire boat detailed cleaner than I've ever seen it. It's now ready for a wax job tomorrow night. Everybody just now left and now I'm off to the shower. 5am comes tooooo early!

No family - except my son and his g/f, but they live here
No big dinner - in fact I ate leftovers and the kids went to Subway
No church - not against going, just haven't been
No dressing up - sweats for me today
No visiting - except for the kids, didn't see a living soul all day

Not too strange a day for me, pretty much run-of-the-mill. I managed to get one of my flower beds cleaned of all the winter debris and ready for spring, if it ever really gets here
