Brown sugar and cloves....that's all you need. Oh and garnish with pineapples. And keep it moist. Covered most of the way, until the end. Then let it brown a little. Yummy.

I have to pack my entire apartment up today. I pick up my U-haul on monday and load it in the afternoon. (free beer and pizza if you want to come and help load the u-haul ) If all goes well, I'll be leaving Virginia for good on Tuesday morning (knock on wood).

Happy easter everybody.

Sorry I'm a little late, but next year try this.

Smother in honey,
Place in a smoker with hickory or mosquite. I prefer fresh cut but if you don't have any of those trees on your place, then use store bought chips. Soak them in a bucket of water for about 30 mins before adding them to the charcoal.
Smoke for about 6-8 hours until a nice dark brown.
Then Smother with pineaplle.
Smoke another 30 mins.

Keep a deep pan under it when you slice it. The honey holds in all the juices! It should be so soft that you can carve it with a fork, So sweet that it melts in you mouth, and so juicey that you won't need a drink.

MMMM, I can't wait for lunch, smoked ham and turky are just about done.

My family including aunts and uncles, cousins, etc, all get together at my mom and dads, we eat a pot luck lunch, then easter egg hunt for the kids, then easter egg fight for us grown ups.

My dad and I are just hanging out around the house watching old westerns. Later today we are going to go pick up my mom from the airport and go out to eat for my birthday.
