Peaceful Protest for Americans

Here goes...

Well after talking with a few of my fellow citizens. We have decided to do our best to get out our point of view on the "Amnesty" bill for the illegal aliens issue.

Our protest is to fly our AMERICAN flags upside-down symbolizing that borders have been overrun and we are being held hostage.

Our hope is that it will catch on before Congress comes back to session in 2 weeks. Perhaps if it does catch on then maybe they will rethink whom the voting population are as well as the largest sector of taxpayers. Hopefully we will be heard without walking out of school and standing in the middle of freeways.

I (we) are sick and tired of hearing that Hispanics will take jobs that no one else wants. That is load of crapola. I have seen wages drop in many industries because of "cheaper" labor aka hispanics. Many skilled jobs have been turned over to unskilled workers.

Would you trust electrical work in your home done by unskilled workers? Inspectors?? No offense but many don't look deep enough.

That's just one example of many.

I don't want to pay for someone here illegally and I just want to use our tax dollars more effectively.

If you agree with this protest then follow suit. If not, then relieve my tax burden and pay for them out of your pocket.

We CAN make a difference as a majority united.

The thing I have found interesting is that wage quotes that I have heard for this unskilled labor is more than I make.

Inspectors are all American because they are government employees (city or dounty, I don't know, maybe even state). Also, unskilled labor is VERY needed, esp with home costs this high. However, you have to have a licensed contractor/plumber/electrician/etc in order to pass inspection, there are checks set in place
Illegals, I am not a racist. No, you don't have to be a citizen to work for the government. We have foreign nationals in our military, maybe you should visit a government office someday.

The contractor is licensed and on large tract jobs, they can't be everywhere at once.

The price of homebuilding is a small price compared to land value, especially on a large scale development.

Pick it apart how you like, I just don't understand what part of ILLEGAL our government representatives don't understand.

You said "Inspectors are all American because they are government employees "

They do have a legal right to work here but still not naturalized citizens. That rather bothers me too with many citizens out of work.

Its called "Corruption".

In the old days they called giving money to influence "Bribery". Today they call it a "Political Action Committe" or PAC for short.
