Just as a side note, the folks in the countries between Bulgaria and Slovakia are pretty decent types. Used to live in Scandinavia and got to love the Estonians, Latts and Lithuanians. No biggie, just a comment.
As to the rest of the subject matter,, I can only say I, myself, think we are on another very steep, slippery slope and I am not at all confident in our present leaders to make the right decisions.

Not wanting to be proven wrong, I would suggest that Iran has little or no capability to do anything with their self professed new nuclear materiels any more than I believe North Korea has.

Is it possible? Maybe, but we have already stubbed our toes on WMD issues in Iraq.

As Raoul points out in his own so clever way, ain't many others that support our policies and it is a hard row to hoe by ourselves if we are not 100% correct, which is not one of our strong points just now.
