Eaton SEMA car stolen, $5,000 reward offered

Eaton is joining in the worldwide search for “Chocolate Thunder” the $450,000 custom convertible built by Rad Rides that was displayed at the Eaton booth during this year’s SEMA show and won the prestigious Mother's Shine Award. Rad Rides is offering a $5,000 reward for tips that lead to the return of the classic car and arrest and conviction of whoever took it.
The beauty, a 1937 Ford convertible with an Eaton supercharger, limited slip differential and Aeroquip hoses, was stolen around 6 a.m., April 6, from a parking lot in Brockville, Ontario, Canada along with its support trailer and Ford pick up tow vehicle.
Police have no leads and there are fears that the vehicle is headed out of North America and destined to be sold on the black market. It was one of three classic vehicles stolen that week in Brockville.
Rad Rides visionary Troy Trepanier said his team has sunk more than 8,500 hours into building the custom vehicle for its private owner who hasn't even had a chance to drive the vehicle yet. They vehicle was touring car shows throughout North America and was being transported in a 32’ trailer sponsored by Eaton.
Please contact Rad Rides @ (815) 468-2590 with any information.

Wouldn't it be kinda hard to hide a Ford truck (F-350 crewcab dually probably) and a 30 ft or so trailer with Eaton plastered all over the sides? I'd be pissed if that was my car, it's a schweeeet ride
Got to thinking: What genious deciced to leave a half million dollar one of a kind car sitting in a trailer with advertising all over it in the middle of a parking lot? Why didn't they just put "steal me" on the side of the trailer and leave the keys in the truck?

OK so we have a $450,000.00 car, probably 50,000-60,000 truck, and who knows how much the trailer is worth and all they are offering is $5000.00 if you help them get it back lol.
I am sorry but that is a bit sad.

Right....now don't get me wrong I wouldn't demand money for info but if someone offers believe me I am not going to turn it down.
I am just saying that is like walking up to a stranger on the street and saying hey I lost a $100.00 bill help me find it and I will give you a whole dollar of it.
Sounds pretty chitty for the real owner of the vehicle. .
But, like everyone said. WTF! They should of had low-jack on the tow vehicle, trailor, and the damn car!!! I wouldn't be suprised if the truck and trailor is swimming in a lake or river while the car is being towed by another truck in an enclosed trailor.

Its probably on the slow boat to china, or its already been stripped and whats left of it is sitting in the middle of no where.
If they dumped that thing on a dirt road in northern Canada, It will be weeks before the cops find it.
