Who wishes that Ford had a similar credit card to the GM Mastercard. I know that I would use it and would love to be able to rack up some points toward future purchases of new Ford vehicles.

Just thinking that it would be nice to get 5% of my purchases toward a new F-150!

Ford did have one about 10 years or so ago. I used it and paid it off on time every month and earned, I believe, $750 or so off a vehicle purchase and that was after the deal before they knew I had the card…

 

I'd be all over a card like that!

I travel a lot for business, and right now split all my charges between American Express and Discover so I can collect various reward points. The American Express points I usually "cash in" for gift certificates to different stores that I like, while the Discover Card points I usually "cash in" as a simple bill credit and use it to buy stuff off ebay or elsewhere. The beauty of all of this is that since the charges are all fully reimbursed by my company, I can really rack up the points while still paying my bill in full every month!

With all the plane tickets, hotels, and rental cars I use during the course of a year, I would collect a TON of "Ford Points" in a very short period of time! All of which would be saved and contributed toward my long-awaited purchase of a new Mustang!

 

Yeah, Ford had it several years ago, I had one too. Then I received a letter that they were doing away with it because they wanted to spend their advertising money a different way.
