I had a Diabetic, 1/2 Walker, 1/2 Blue Tick Coon Hunting dog. This was an unpapered because of the cross breed, yet still made a name for himself as a trainer dog so he was a $2000 dog.
I had to give him a Hershy bar before we went hunting or he'd get to excited, his sugar would drop and he'd have a siezure in the woods. Before I figured it out, he'd be on a tree, I'd be heading to him, then he'd get silent. "It's hard to find a dog in the woods at night if they aren't barking." One time I found him in a seizure and he'd seizured on the tree and fell off a 20 foot bluff. He was alright, it just scared me.
