hey guys and gals. looked for an introduction section but didn't see one. so i'll use this spot(hopefully its cool with everyone). i'm new to the full size scene just traded in my 99 ranger for a 2006 f-150 4x4 on saturday. i love this truck she is gorgeous, lovely to ride in and all the power i need. got the STX model with power windows and locks with the manual transfer case. only browsed the site just a little bit but from what i've seen this place looks great lots of good info and good ppl. i'll be visiting quite often. thanks for the time.

howdy....RN....the GD area requires thick skin but most here are cool....have you tried the new gas-saving pills...I hear they are great....

Oh and Netwurker is selling wireless speed spray...it might help with truck performance....I've bought a case....

Let me ask you this. Now that you have moved up to a big truck, do you think you could ever go back to riding around in a "little" truck?

I would have a hard time adjusting, after spending two years riding around in a "small living room".

 

prolly not for a daily driver, but for a trail rig the small truck is perfect. i've only been in this one 3 days and already asking myself "why didn't i do this a few years ago?"

Great people, and lots of knowledge is definatly abundant here.

If you want better gas mileage.... we likely can't help.

If you want power, versitlity, power, speed, power, or anything else.... This is the place to look.

If you ever have a problem this is also the place to look. This site is worth it's weight in bandwidth for the time and money it has saved me on the few repairs I have had to do.


Now that all the pleasantries are over.....

As far as the initiation requirements, well.... that has been changed.
This site is now PG13 so no naked pic of hootiecans can be posted.
However we do have e-mail.......
Click on the user name on the post to send pics via email to that user.


Initiation is important because we have found that it is the best and quickest way to make friends, gain allies which wil reduce being picked on and help get accurate answers to any questions.

Revised initiation is as follows:
All new members must submit pics of their Girlfriend, Wife or a good friend's Hootie cans via e-mail to intiation review committee. If new member happens to be of female gender then her own Hootie cans are required.

All initiation submissions must be sent to each member of the selected initiation review committee who are as follows;

trytokeepup, Zaairman, wstahlm80, Jamzwayne, BREWDUDE, vader716 and of course myself.

Any member who has at least 100 post may add them self to the Initiation Review Board at any time prior to candidates submission by simply replying with a post in this thread saying "I am added to the committee".
Once submission has been received by the review committee, candidate is no longer required to send anymore pics to late committee request.
