Masters Practice Round
Masters Practice Round
I am leaving tomorrow for Augusta, GA. My buddy has tickets to the Masters practice round on Wednesday. I am pretty excited about this opportunity. Hopefully I will get some very nice pics and I am sure I will see a very beautiful course at the best time of the year!
I will try to post a few pics when I get back.

Sweet. I would love to see those pics.
I played in a tournament yesterday. It was the perfect day too. 75, sunny, wind wasn't bad, I just had one problem....my damn driver just couldn't find the fairway. I cant complain....I only lost 4 *****, and I got paid to play.

Have fun, I have several coworkers that are taking a week off to golf and drink. One of their stops was there.

Hey Guys, I just got back from the Practice Round and Par 3 tournament. The Par 3 tournament was by far the most fun thing that we did all day. I was able to see 3 hole-in-ones in person and I had never witnessed one until yesterday.
We pretty much sat on the number 9 hole at the par 3 and watched the players hit their shots onto the green and putt out. A lot of the players let their kids or caddies putt out for them.
While I was there, I tried one of the famous pimento cheese sandwiches wrapped in green wax paper. The sandwich was okay, but the golf was better. Hopefully someday I will be able to make it to a tournament round. Until then, I can watch the tournament on TV and know that the course looks a little different in person than it does on TV.
I will post up a link so that you can see the pictures. Not all of them turned out very well, but I had a digital zoom on some just so I could get the pictures. Too many to post them here.

Last year, I had a buddy who traded 4 practice round tickets for 2 Saturday tickets. If you remember last year, part of the 2nd round was delayed until Saturday. So, my friend got to see Jack Nicklaus play in his final Master's since the cut wasn't made until Saturday instead of Friday. Pretty awesome deal to me. Glad you enjoyed the trip!!
