Well, it's the second Saturday in a row that I've been on baby duty. The wife is out with a group of her girlfriends for lunch (someone's birthday) and it's just me and Will hanging solo around the house.

I guess I can't complain too much, since I left her solo from Monday thru Thursday while I was on business up in DC and NY!

Thank God for the internet, a volume control on the baby monitor, and all-day coverage of the Barrett-Jackson Automobile Auction on Speed TV......!

 

yep that sucks,

We split up today, Wife took the oldest daughter to the eye doctor got them both some new glasses and contacts, then went shopping. I took the youngest to a B-day party. Now I'm home alone and getting ready to go out and work on the boat.... alone and peacefully.

 

Free at last, free at last -- thank God I'm free at last!

The wife finally got home and I more or less told her, "Love ya' babes -- but I'm out of here and don't know exactly when I'll be home. Takin' ol' Blue out for a little run on a shopping trip down to Gander Mountain, and then a swing by Wal-Mart to pick-up some oil and filter for the change that's due on the Escape.

I might even sneak in a trip to Waffle House for dinner if I decide I'm too lazy to grill tonight!

 

Yea I've already made 1 trip to the auto store for the boat, now taking a break before I make another. Litterally for 2 pieces of hardware that will cost less than 5 cents together. Ohh well out of cigs anyway so I'll pick up a carton while I'm in town.

Wife and both kids are back home, so I have yeling and strange unidentifiable noises that are beyond the reach of natural sounds. Yep the house is back to normal again.
