Military Question
I was in the Corps, so I wont be of much help.
Like already mentioned....Boot camp is basically mind games to weed out the slackers. I had a great time in boot. I was in the best shape of my life after 12 weeks.
Like a few people mentioned, make sure the MOS you want is in your contract. Don't sign anything until your for sure it's what you want. I got screwed, i was supposed to be a mechanic, but ended up being an open contract. That means I was put into whatever field needed to be filled. I got lucky and ended up 1371 (Combat engineer). I looked for mines, built bridges, worked demo (a lot), basically, I was a grunt with C4.
Best times of my life were in the Corps. I miss it now. Make the best of it, and have fun.

I carried my contract in my back pocket the whole time I was in Basic. That was one wrinkled puppy by the time I graduated.
I was scared to death they would yank me out of line one day and say, "Get on that plane, you're going to 'Nam."
Like waving that piece of paper would do me any good.
GO NAVY....
Army Football Practice for Army/Navy Game Delayed
West Point (NY) -- Army football practice was delayed nearly two hours yesterday after a player reported finding an unknown powdery white substance on the practice field. New head coach, John Mumford, immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate.
After a complete analysis by both the FBI and Army Intelligence, forensic experts determined the powdery white substance unknown to players was the goal line.
Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

3. A Second Lieutenant saying, "Based upon my experience..."
4. A Captain saying, "I was just thinking..."
5. A Warrant Officer chuckling, "Watch this $#!+..."
