You are correct. There are worse things to weep about. However, what he meant is that he weeps for a society that places more importance on idiotic events and happenings such as this. To he!! with the people who are murdered, raped, mugged, attacked, beaten, abused, starving, and diesease ridden. Current society would rather make a big deal about a pop-star who marks another notch on her belt of fame by supposedly supporting the pro-choice people.

I think that is the position she used to give birth. Some kind of Kabala thing. Can't rememebr where I read it, but she supoosedly had less-than-average birthing procedures.
