Congrats!!! If you think you are tired now, wait till he/she gets here. The best night of my life was when my wife took that test, I couldnt sleep. My baby girl is 3 weeks old in two days never have I been so happy and tired in my life. The most nervous I have ever been was driving her home from the hospital, I felt like I had forgotten how to drive. BigHersh has some very good pointers, we stocked up a good bit, hitting Sams till we filled up almost every available space we have. I am fixing to have to go back for more diapers and wipes, jeez she goes through them things fast. Good Luck over the next 9 months, some people go through it like a pro, my wifes pregnancy was "interesting" to say the least, a series of ups and downs but it all worked out.

Yeah; sleep will be a *****, as in- you won't be getting any...

I was so tired, I just wanted to scream (like a little beeyotch). I don't care, being a new daddy will bring the beeyotch right out of you... Don't worry, shortly thereafter, you'll man-up real quick. But, damn- I was tired...

The sleepless nights, the sleepless days, the visiting folks...
At our shower, some peopel gave us diapers. We had maybe 240 diapers; I thought we were good to go. Some of the daddies told me; "You'd better get yourself some more diapers..." I said, "We have over 200, we shoudl be good for a while... They all looked at me, called me a "Rookie" then laughed.

The baby's gonna wet or poop a diaper at least once an hour, two hours max.. 24 hours a day, that's 12-24 diapers a day. 200 diapers will be gone in about 1.5 weeks... I thought (No way...) Way... That's not counting when they get sick (diarrhea)...

man, it sounds daunting; and it is; but you will love it... My son pee'd on me, and pooped on my hand within 24 hours of being on earth, and I didn't care; I was just so happy he was here! I told him to "handle his business" ...

And hey, if you shed a few tears in the delivery room, it's no biggie... I don't know where the hell that came from in my case; but it happened, right after he started crying for the first time...

Welcome to Daddyhood!

PS- They have MDX's on sale!

Thanks everyone. D too.

I hope it's a boy. I have 2 girls (trying to sell them on eBay), and I am the only guy in the house. If it's a boy, I will get some back-up from time to time. That will be cool.

With this new news and Hersh's advice, the game room is coming apart, and it will become the nursery.

Now, what to do with all these gaming consoles.

Again, thanks everyone.

No doubt...

They can call me "Soccer-Mom" all they want; I thought seriously about getting this: This is one bad-*** minivan... If there is such a thing as a bad-*** minivan.

You can even change the colors and put rims on it.
