So my Monday started on sunday and kept going today

I manage an offshore inspection company(we specialize in drilling rigs). I have two offices one here and one in Mississippi. Thanks to our storms last year in the Gulf we are pretty busy. I have spent the last 3 weeks in Mississippi helping out with a big project. It finally got to the point that I could get out of there yesterday. I loaded up and was on I 10 West by 8:30 am and traffic was moving good. There were only a couple of times the traffic slowed to under 80. Well we made it to Orange Tx and traffic started pack together in a constructuin zone but was still moving pretty good. Just as we get through Orange the lanes narrowed with no shoulder just concrete barricades. Well an 18 wheeler sucked a piece of heavy corrigated steel that was against the barricade. I thought I would be able to go over it with no problems. NOT The peice of steel rolled all the way down the under carrage. I look in the rear view and everyone has there windsheld wipers on I oiled them good. Ended up knocking a hole in the oil filter. I could not get over or slow down for about a mile (45 sec or so) Which I found out is enough time to pump out about 5 qts of oil and completely soak the entire undercarrage of my Epxy which was fairly clean. And put me 3 hours later getting home. Well I got a friend to bring me oil and filter and so far no problems. Then today started at 4am with customers need crews ASAP and more work than I have employees. Anyone need a job.

Sorry so long
Rant off

Mountaineer????

Naw, spelling is to good.

Well atleast it wasn't long enough to find out how long it takes to pump all 6 quarts out and turn a perfectly fine running engine into a 1500 lb boulder.

Still sucks though!

Also glad it was just the filter and not the oil pan, or transmission pan or both or all three.....
