.....Talk about B.S.
Yeah, makes me proud that Lincoln is our state capitol. Idiots in that town, and I believe that the mayor is some 70 or 80ish grandma. This doesn't surprise me. The only good thing that the Lincoln PD has done recently was get Brent Musburger for an open container after a Husker game.
Well, it doesn't make sense to give the person on the lease that wasn't even there, was in another city visiting family and had nothing to do with it 30 days in jail. They gave the other one that was on the lease and WAS there at the party a simple fine!?? He should've got the jail time!
I think I would have to beat my roommate within an inch of his life after I got out of jail for something I had nothing to do with. The poor kid probably lost his job.

I threw a pretty serious rager back in highschool when my dad was out of town...anyway, parents of one of the kids at my "gathering" threatened to sue my dad (who was climbing Mt. Rainier that weekend) for losing control of a residence or something like that. All because the kid got an MIP or something. I was 16 at the time and I got a "furnishing a place for minors to comsume alcohol (even though I was a minor) ticket and and an MIP myself. Moral of the story: Don't do something your not supposed to!
Speaking of Keggers...
I threw one at Mom's house my freshmen year in college. Mom's a good sport and actually went away for the night so I could do it. Here in Boulder, CO we usually get the Environmental police on the scene to bust up parties so the Police dont have to waste their time. Anyway we had about 75 people and the real cops showed up cause we had a street fight. Anyway; the 21-yr old was on the ball.... When the cops rolled up; most people fled. When the cops came in, nobody under age had any beer in hand. The 21-yr old told the cops that nobody under age had beer from his kegs. He explained to the cops that he did not know where the under age kids had gotten beer but insisted it was not from the Kegs. ROFL. Anyway; they had no proof the under age people had beer from the kegs. He got off scott free as did I.
