Getting a new car, whadaya think?

Alright, don't be abnoxious bastards about this. (I'm not replacing the Nav, its the wifes this one's gonna be for me)

I have narrowed it to four choices.

1. Lincoln Zephyr

2. Lincoln LS

3. Mustang GT (this one is highly unlikely, but I am keepin it on the list)

4. Dodge Charger SRT8

I know the last one is a dodge, but hey, its the best thing they have put out in years and I have a buddy who works at a dodge dealer. I am a lincoln finatic, so I am leaning towards one of them. I like the design of the Zephyr, but it doesn't come with a V8. The LS is 10 grand more but has 280HP. The mustang isn't likely (this is going to be a company car) but I haven't given up hope.

So I guess, LS or Zephyr?

You can get a killer deal on an LS nowadays, and if you really want one, now's the time - they're gone after '06.

I would go with the LS or the Stang. The stang would be more fun, but those new lincolns are BADD for a grandma car!

I was leanin LS really just because of the 280HP (and I got to drive one for several days while the aviator got a tranny rebuild, at 12K miles )

If it were my money (and the Mustang was definitely a no go) I'd get the LS -- I think they're pretty neat little cars!

srt8, just my 2 cents.... of course, im a young lad of 22, and the lincoln just isnt my style, the ls is great car tho. and the mustang, well, virtually no backseat, only enough room for a couple cases of beer

I have a lincoln ls v8 ultimate.

It was not cheap back in 04 though.

Mine has the air condition seats and heated seats, navigation, zenon headlamps. It's a fun 4 door car to drive.

My first choice would be the 'Stang but, since you say it's pretty much a no go, my vote would be for the LS.

Sounds like the general consensus is LS, like I was leaning. And big rob, you little young buck, once you drive a lincoln, you'll learn. You may only be 22, but I am only 26. When you go lincoln, its practically all standard options except for crazy chit like rear heated/cooled seats and navigation, and they ride better than any other car on the road.

04 and up LS are much improved over the previous models not just in the power department but qualitywise.

SRT-8

Best of both worlds...

4-doors and room for 5, long with haul-assery (425 HP)...
