Nascar Las Vegas style

Just got back from Vegas and although a cpl of $$ short had a great time. Went to the Nascar Qualification and practice on Friday (was only 42 degrees with a 30 mph wind) and the big race on Sunday. Was my 1st time and I had a ball! Was able to meet Richard Petty and Mark Martin. I added a few pics to my gallery if you'd like to view. Have a cpl of good short videos but don't know how to post those.

Telling you Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon are the best! But I like Martin!

I was there too. On Friday I was just past the Shelby Headquarters getting my truck back from having the Whipple installed. I flew my two brothers in from Alaska for the race. We just went on Sunday and watched as Kenseth got ROBBED! I have to give it to Johnson though, he beat him on that final run... great finish.

I've come to find out that this is a pretty boring racetrack. Not much action all race because of the size of it. They are planning on making the incline steeper and taking out 15 feet of width for passing for next years race, so it should be a lot tighter.

I thought last year had a lot of people at around 140,000. This years estimate was 170,000! What a turn out for a single sporting event!

I saw on speed channel that most of the drivers don't like the changes that they are making, especially the new pit lane.
