I am gonna throw a huge X2 at your post.

Except the ugly part. The only things I find ugly is the stacks, and the gold grill (WTF). Your right, panels need to be straight, a fresh coat of paint, new rubber and wheels, interior, etc.
Like I said, "I would build that bish from the frame up." Nice restore project with an awesome reward at the end.

Sweet truck....period.

Now what do you have to say about that, Mattaineer?

T thought I was agreeing with Mountaineer, started hyperventilating and passed out. When I came to, I reread it and so I was mistaken. He said he didn't like those old trucks. I love old trucks but prior to 1960. I do not care for many of the Ford trucks from 1960 till the 90s. Just don't care much for that truck. The nice thing about liking different things, we are not all after the same one.

mountaineer, this one is for you

Mine at home, 360ci V8 This baby could pull out more stuck shed-delivering-Super Duties than your Mountaineer can dream about.

Frame and bed are from 1976
Cab is 1979
Topper is for the 1995 SuperCab!

I am planning on a lift, but need to find 4x4 steering components from a 79 for that to work. For some reason, the geometrics of the 76 don't allow lift. Closer9 was going to look into a bed for me, this one pictured needs new bedsides but the floor is in decent and workable shape. I haven't decided if I want a completely different bed in good shape, or fix this one.

HEEECK YEAH!!

Now WHO SAYS you can't have a camper ***AND*** a toolbox on the same truck? Living proof, baby!!

This truck cracks me up for so many reasons. What yearS is that truck again? Are all the pieces from the same year?

I bet this dang thing is powerful though.

Well, I think you need to keep the yellow grille except add a modded yellow oval that says "CAT" on the front in black

Oh, and Mountaineer is a tool.

Caterpillar engines suck. Every part on them is proprietary and they all cost $100+
