yes you can laugh. Make a bunch of blonde jokes.

She was deaf, right? But not blind. She didnt hear the train but I'm sure she saw the tracks. You are deaf and you think walking on train tracks is a smart thing to do?

You ever stood on ground next to the tracks while a train whizzes by? Now imagine what it would feel like actually standing on the tracks (if she were). Surely she could have felt the vibrations to get out of the way in time. Besides, aren't deaf people more in tune with their other 4 senses anyway?

Wait,

Let's not turn this into a UC bashing thread. Ok, he has a different sense of humor then the rest of us. Maybe that is because he's from Colorado, I dunno, but he is cool, none the less.

My first thought when I read it, having been around some deaf people, was that it was possibly intentional. They are much more aware of what is around them and she would have felt the vibration. I don't know, just something I thought.

Come on guys; yea she was 18; it sucks. But ya'll laugh at the Darwin awards so what gives? As already stated; she was deaf and not smart enough to stay away from the tracks.

Note: I just have a hard time relating to anyone I dont know personally.
