Talking I am happy

If some of you remember I started a thread awhile ago that said "Calling all Criminals". I had said that I had got a stop sign violation ticket. Well its been about 2 months now and I have heard that you are responsible for setting up a traffic school date. When I looked at the ticket and there is a place where the cop is suppose to fill out the court date and it was blank. There was an informational website thing so I went there and you can find our court date on there. There were 4 different ways you could identify yourself and your ticket (Name, Liscense #, and 2 others i forget). I did all 4 and everyone of them couldnt find my ticket info. If im not mistake does that mean I dont get the ticket? There is no record of me gettting it so I am assuming it was trashed. yay for me

there probably is no record for the ticket because court date has already passed, and now it has gone from a simple stop sign violation, to a bench warrant for not showing up to court.... jfwy, at least i hope not, i am interested in seein how this ends up, its not like u want to call the court about it, maybe the cop realized he didnt sign it and just wrote it off, who knows though, good luck man!

yeah, you should have gotten a notice, then if u missed a court date they generally send you a notice for a show cause hearing to let u tell them why you shouldnt be held in contempt of court. i wouldnt sweat it too much, just dont do anything to increase your chances of getting pulled over, would hate to find out the hard way

Just call your local police department and see if you have a bench warrant for failure to appear. If you do all you have to do is go down to the department and have the desk officer issue you another citation which will clear your warrant and give you another court date. At the new court date you will have to explain to the judge why you didn't show up so start thinkin

If you don't have a warrant and they can't find you anywhere in the system than you the 1 in a 1000 that gets out of their ticket by way of some paperwork error wether it be the officer didn't turn in (or lost) your ticket or the court screwed up. It does happen. Hopefully it's the latter. Good luck.
