Smile Hello Everyone Newbie on board

Hey guys/gals. new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself.
I didnt really find a proper forum so im guessing the general will do.

My name is Fabian.
Im from a small town in Texas about 70 southwest of houston.

I just picked up a new 2006 supercrew texas edition about a month ago.
nothing much to it yet.
I tinted the front windows and blacked out the back and i have a few more mods in store in the next few weeks.

a little background if you guys are intrested.
I have been driving a 1984 s10 blazer with a 357 V8 for the last 4 years or so. before that i had my dads 84 f150 ext cab that we owned since new.
and my first vehicle was a 1991 ranger 3.0 five speed.

i bought the blazer about six years ago and pretty much restored it and swapped the frame a bit after that due to an unplanned meeting with a pole.
I made a custom fiberglass dash with autometer gauges, built the engine, updated the front end and installed a custom Kenwood A/V system.
I belong to the forum Blazinlow.com and post regulary there if any of you know ever heard of them. My name there is FabianSS357
I have done quite a few mods to it, but this is the FORD forum so ill just fill up my post count here with upcoming mods on my FORD not my old vehicle.

heres a pic from when i got it home.

ill update my gallery soon so check back later.

I look forward to being a part of this forum.

Welcome!
Let's see some more pictures. What's a Texas edition? Looks like an XLT to me. What did they add on to it? Looks nice.

Its basically and XLT with a few of the normal options standard and special leasing/financing plans with standard two tone paint and some texas edition chrome logos under the F150 badges (mine is debadged)

ill get some more pics up after i get my interior done and the front billet in.

oh by the way, why are all the places i look at for billet grilles saying that the bumper billets only fit 04-05 and NOT 06? anyone know?
i know the bumper design is a bit different but isnt the cutout the same size?

The opening is smaller on the 06's from the ones I've seen.

Hes correct. The bumper opening on the 04-05 is open on the top side of the bumper. On the 06, that same opening is closed all the way accross.

06

04-05
