upgrade to power door locks?

i just bought an 05 stx. i want to install a remote car starter in it with keyless entry, but i don't have power door locks. ive seen upgrade kits and was wondering if anyone may know for sure if i can do it, and if anyone has any suggestions on a particular remote starter. thanks

Well, Dan. I ain't no rocket scientist, but I think that if you have only manual door locks, you would have to install automatic door locks to make them work with your new remote start. Or am I way out in left field somewhere?

Although he may not be very articulate; I think he was asking two questions.

1. Are there kits to go from manual to automatic locks
2. Any good remote-start recomendations?

Yes it can be done.

I have a friend that has an 03 F-150. He shaved the door handles, and had the power locks installed, along with power windows. As far as the remote start goes, I have no info to give you, other then I have seen it installed on a lightning.

Here is a link to a site for the remote starter kit.
