Dad sent me some new pix today...

He detailed the GN, and took some pretty good shots down the road at a little lake/pond...

I would love to have this car, but with only 35K miles I would hate to drive it, although I have driven it, and mmmmm...
He's still toying with the idea of selling it, and my buddy is getting more serious about buying it... Dad would like to trade for my buddy's '70 383/4-spd Super Bee, but that would never happen...

BTW, on a side note. My painter buddy finally found my paint, and got some small parts painted tonight. He'll be shooting the car Saturday... I can't wait!!!!

Just thought some of you might like to see it. No, it isn't stock. Apparently the previous owner had quite a thing for Kenne Bell...

I love those cars. A guy down the road has one with very low miles. Back a few years ago, I was street racing a lot with my 1954 Ford F100, strong 351 Clev, 175 nitrous, 4.88 gears. This was in Abilene and we had a place at the edge of town that was an abandoned start of an industrial park that was perfect for drag racing. We had a quarter mile marked off. The cops would cruise through to make sure all was koshure but left the racers alone. On any Friday or Saturday night there would be as many as 300 out there. A guy in town had a T Type Regal that had some mods. We would race almost every weekend. He would always jump me badly off the line as of course, I had traction problems, but I would catch and pass him on the top end and always beat him in the quarter. I had a lot of respect for those cars. The neat thing is, he would load his slicks in the trunk, drive 150 miles to Fort Worth on Friday and race at a 1/8 mile drag strip. Spend the night, then go to Texas Motor Speedway at Ennis, race the 1/4 on Saturday and then drive the 225 miles home. What vehicle could offer more fun than that?

Your Pops has a nice ride closer.

By the looks of it in the pics, it has been taken good care of.

I used to have an '87 Cutlass. How I wished that thing was a GN. I've always loved them.

You car on the right. Is that a shadow where Buicks historically had holes in the fender or is that some type of vent?
