I just started a new job and I need to pick up a new cell phone so I can get email and what not..

I have Verizon Wireless and I want to get the Trio 700.

Does anyone know a good online site that I can buy the phone for cheaper then going to the Verizon Wireless store.

The place by me here in NYC will do it for $399 and will knock $30 a phone off when me and 2 of my co-works buy together and I can only expense $300 for the phone. So I am trying to cut my out of pocket cost down.

 

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...but I do not think you are going to get a better price than that....you will normally pick up a Treo for $600 if you do not get a plan with it....

 

Well I was just hoping someone maybe had a connection or what not.. I will have to see if the guy will do better if I pay him cash for the phone..

 

i own a cell phone store but i dont sell Verizon, i only sell tmobile sprint cingular and nextel, otherwise i would love to help ya out

Since you own a cell store when is Tmoblie going to get service in NC I want a sidekick.

 

tmobile uses cingulars towers in sc and nc, so you can have voice service but no internet while roaming, i havent heard of any plans to expand there either, sorry man!

 

That sucks. Do you have any first hand knowledge of teh Sidekicks are they worth the money? Do they last? I use nexet right now and I'm pretty happy with it but I think I would like to switch.

 

they are decent you can get a treo or pocketpc for the same price with alot more features and options! but they do last, just remeber the internet loads slower then you would expect on them!

 

I want one the only company around here that has them is SunCom. But I'm not to sure about the service.
