Whats it called to ALWAYS be tired, even after a good night rest?

I think in the last seven days I have developed something even more not normal with me. I ran out of hours for health insurance coverage due to lack of work from the Union hall for now so I do not have coverage to go into a hospital to get looked at.

Over the last week, I wake up out of bed (normally get between 6-7 hours of sleep every night) and I'm wide awake ready to go for the first half hour after getting up, and after about a half hour, all of a sudden I feel like I haven't slept in 2 days and I could go back to bed and sleep the entire day (but I don't) I do make some coffee in the mornings to try to get myself up again, but its not working anymore.

I do exercise every day in the afternoons as my Golden retriever and I run about a mile every day outside.

Does anyone know what this might be called? or what it is, and how do you go about curing this problem? Gradually its been getting a little worse and worse over the last 7 days and I feel like I'm 80 years old instead of 24.

Other than the sleeping thing, how have you been feeling. Gonna need more info than I cant sleep. And since its gonna be hard to perform any medical tests over the internet, so a brief medical history would be a start.

It's called LAZYNESS!! Get a job you bum

But for real, it could be a million things. You have to make sure you eat right and get the proper nutrition. You could just be sick with a nagging cold or slight flu. Or it could really be something else. I had the same thing for a long time. I could sleep for 7 hours or 10 hours and wake up tired as could be. It got worse and then I eventually started waking up in the middle of the night *not breathing* I would be gasping for air. It was pretty scary. Turns out it was sleep apnia. It took a bunch of testing to figure it out. And then the worst operation in the world. They took my adnoids out, that little thing that hangs down in the back of your throat, and they cut the back of my throat open to widen it up so I could get more air. It was horrible, I think I would rather stop breathing and die then go thru that again. Lets hope thats not your problem...

I think too much sleep and just sitting around being bored will make you tired all the time as well.

Hope you feel better

Personally I'm leaning more toward lack of REM sleep, possibly mono or the onset of.

Oh..I'm not trying to figure it out..if I were, I would go with my first thought..LAZYNESS

Just thought I would share my story as it started the same way he's feeling now and it went on for a year or so before I figured it out.

This is something I NEVER had before, so I was asking for real information on this, not having sarcastic remarks this time as I'm really trying to find out whats going on over here.

I don't have any medical history that I'm aware of, and my eating habits are fairly good, I exercise every day, and for the most part I'm happy in my life, not some depressed bum who sits on a couch all day and watches T.V. Maybe I spend to much time on this website.. lol

I think Mono was the information I was leading too thinking I might be getting, or do have. I'll do some information on the Internet about that to see what brings it on, and how to stop it, but all I know is that something is wrong over here and that I shouldn't not be falling back to sleep after a half hour up after a 7 hour sleep, something is wrong.

In all seriousness...you cant expect realistic diagnosis on this site. Any real advice you're given could be from a goat herder for all you know. If you cant get your answers from Webmd or something similar and it really concerns you...you need to see a doctor.

"But doctor...brewdude said that it was..."

See your family doctor and get some blood work done. You can't put a price on your health. By the time the morons here get done with ya they'll have ya believing you're pregnant.
