I cant stand Stern but really....this lawsuit is just sour grapes....the stations that no longer have Stern are dropping like rocks in the ratings and the execs are ticked off.

CBS has finally realized the talent and revenue that they lost when Stern left and they are trying to recoup their losses. Have you seen the ratings on Stern's replacements? David Lee Roth has something like a 1.4 and Adam Corolla has a 0.7! Stern had over a 5.

I have Sirius and listened to Stern talk about it this morning. He is going to bury them. Les Moonves even wished him well in his last week and told Howard that he bought a Sirius unit so he could follow him.

They knew what Howard's deal was and gave him permission to talk about Sirius. they even had the power to dumo anything he said and they did not do it.

Howard said that Les told him that it was not personal and then he told Howard that he was upset because Howard told him about his move on Les' birthday. Howard asked him if he was 4 years old. What a baby.

They made billions off Stern and in his last year they sold more ads then ever. His show was almost all commercials back on regular radio. His show is great now. Some commercials but only 6 minutes per hour.

The funny thing is that CBS will probably end up just helping Sirius gain subscribers because fans that did not sign up will see this and want to learn more about it.

Now, if Mr. Stern would actually do something to give my stock some value...

I am still finding it hard to understand how it was fiscally responsible for Sirius to offer Stern such a fat contract....

I always thought it was odd how much he was able to promote Sirius while under contract with his terrestrial based radio stations. Besides; if people like us can be sue-happy; why can't CBS?

Pretty simple, Sirius needs to get people like Stern to be financially viable. Considering that satellite radio is relatively new with multiple players, there's going to be a lot of scrapping for market share.

You bought Sirius stock?

Why not just go to the slots and start dumping quarters into it?

$12.95/mo x 3,000,000 new subscribers = $38,850,000 per month or $466,200,000 per year. Add in the advertisers that Stern is bringing in and you pay for him easily in one year.

Did anyone see that XS gave Oprah her own channel and paid her $55,000,000. she is going to be on there 30 minutes a month!

Don't forget to add in that both XM and Sirius are over 1 billion in debt. One is right at 1billion and the other is at 1.2 billion.

Because I actually made money on XM. Bought low, sold high. You know, what you are suppoesd to do with stock. Well, after selling XM high, I bought Sirius low. I am assuming that over time, their stock will trend like XM did. Don't get me wrong, I've still doubled my money. I'm just greedy.
