Angry Why does it always rain when you don't want it to!

It seems like every time I plan something it rains all day. Either that or it is cool and Windy and raining. Last week my dad and brother and his son went fishing in his boat. We got up early and left. We went on Sunday. Saturday was nice and warm in the 70's and sunny. I wore shorts all day working in the yard. We went on Sunday and the high was only about 50 if even that. The wind was blowing about 20+ mph and it was lightly raining throughout the day. We wore our jackets all day. On Monday, it was sunny and back in the 70's again.

Last year, My fiance and I went to the Monster Truck show and it steady rained the whole evening and it was in Alltel Stadium which is an outdoor stadium. We stayed for the whole event but we had to buy poncho's just to keep dry. Well we brought tickets again this year and of course today, Friday is mainly sunny in mid to upper 60's. Tomorrow is supposed to barely reach 60 and supposed to rain all day.

Back when I had my boat, if I planned to go fishing ahead of time, it either rained all day or it was so windy that I couldn't go. The Boat was a 16' aluminum Bass Tracker so it was light and was hard to handle in the wind. It just seems like if I plan something, it never goes right. But if I just go out and do it without notice, everything works out good.

I have a Wedding planned on June 17, the way my luck goes, it'll rain that day too

I hear ya Paul.

I cant wait for Spring. We haven't really had a winter down here in Texas. Some cold snaps, and that's about it. The last few weekends, I wanted to grill some chicken or ribs, and it seems to be cold and rainy on those days. I have just plain given up until spring. I cant wait to get in my garden. I am sick of looking at the inside of my house. The more I stay in it, the more I find I need to fix.

Saturday - temperatures dropping into the upper 20's with a chance of lake effect snow into the evening

Sunday - high of 20 - continuing windy and cold with additional snow accumulation

I'll take the 50 degrees, but I don't know how you guys can stand the heat and humidity. I was in New Orleans in August a few years back and the humidity hit you like a ball bat. It was like 100 degrees and 100% humidity.

At least it rains there. We have been dry (for the most part) in Oklahoma for around 4 months.

It's pretty bad here too. When I say "rain", I mean MIST. We have gotten a few inches over the past few weeks, so I guess I cant complain.

That would be Murphy's Law. Yup. I'm very familiar with that one.

Today it's going to be close to 60 degrees, but just wait it's going to be back in the 30's again for the weekend.

Because God hates you.

But don't feel bad. God hates everybody.

Welcome to the world.

No, not at all. Having a good one actually. Just sitting here watching the golf tournament.

It's the general consensus that God loves everyone, but the ugly truth is that he doesn't. I'm not lamenting, just reporting the facts. It's been that way since time began. The secret to life is to just accept it and make the best of it.

Hint: It doesn't matter that God hates you.

Hey, look at that. Looks like Tiger is working his way back.

So, Tiger is doing good this go round? What tourney is that? I can look that up to help keep me busy.

I found this:

Two-time winner Tiger Woods survived some erratic driving over the front nine to fight back and edge Australia's Robert Allenby by one hole at the WGC Match Play Championship in California today.

It's the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship down at La Costa. It's match play so not scored like a regular tourney. Tiger was down three but has brought it back to down 1 (after 14 holes).
