Is there a GM forum as great as this one?

I am interested in a new vehicle, with the Ford being my leading choice (f150, navigator) but want to include the suburban z71. This site has been terrific for getting information, so it made me wonder if there is a similar site where i could get info on the z71. I hate to ask this question here, but i don't know where else to turn. A google search did not turn up much. thx for the help.

Probably not

Since they don't make a truck that compares to the Ford, I guess there's no equivalent web site.

Not sure of the gm sites, I know some are out there, but my computer locks up if I try to go to them..

Just for your info, Ford is coming out with a re-designed 2007 expedition that sounds pretty nice. They have an extended on available to compete with the suburban also. Might be worth the wait.

Well JJ you are young so you are forgiven but GM owns Chevy, GMC, Pontiac, Buick, Saturn, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Sabb, Opel, Hummer, Holden. I think thats it but I may be missing one. The funny thing is you just hit on one of the largest problems that GM Marketing faces.....Brand Recognition.

Oh, Z71 is just an option package that sometimes includes suspension, larger air filter, bigger tires etc... It all depends on the vehicle. It is available on many GM trucks & Suv's.

Tisk Tisk, that’s not nice. GM motors don't leak oil.
I never heard that acronym before. Do you have an acronym that involves a piston slap? Now that would be funny

So, I guess now wouldn't be a good time to mention I got a Chevy, and will be selling the Stang... Although, I guess I already mentioned it once before, but I should still be in the F150online good graces for a while since I own TWO fords, one chevy and my precious Plymouth (we won't discuss the fiance's Honda)...

I know some of ya'll are just playin', but I honestly don't see the big reason for GM bashing. Dad's got around 90k on his 2000 regular cab SWB GMC, and it's still a sweet truck. I always like his as much or maybe a little better than my '03 ( not to say that I didn't like my FlareSide. I just really liked his truck) I say check them all out. See what everyone has to say about each then DRIVE each. I for one am not too keen on the 05+ F150's, but love everyone before that... The new ones are not bad, just kind bulky and boxy. But the other two (notice I don't acknowledge the furners?) make some nice trucks too. As I mentioned Dad's GMC is holding up quite well, and still looks damn good. Plus I really like the new Tahoes and Suburbans... And my I've got two good friends with '05 Dodges... One is a loaded to the gills 3500 diesel 4x4 with plenty of aftermarket goodies, the other is a completely stock Rumble Bee... Nice trucks... all of them... Give 'em all a shot before you spend you hard earned money on anything...
