I did a Google search for current IE shutdown problems. The only returns I received were:

I quit using IE and Outlook Express a couple years ago. I haven't had a crash since. FireFox & Thunderbird are the ones to use. Sure people say there are issues, but I don't have to update twice a day, other than my PC-Cillin virus protection.
