Dental Care.... WOW!!!
Dental Care.... WOW!!!
Well what do you expect?
Boards are slow.
So to keep with the marketing/consumer report theme that we have had the last few days with Office Chairs and Cereal and LT's Commercials in general thread. I have a Dental product that my family recently purchased that so far seems to be worth every penny. I can't brag enough about it. It's the Oral B Professional 7000 series powered tooth cleaning system.
It can be viewed here.

I've been using an Oral-B electrical tooth brush for a long time, but this is not even in the same class. You might as well be brushing with a horse hair brush compared to this one.
Wife went to the dentist and found out she had signs of the beginning of gingivitis (sp?) and this was the treatment that the dentist recommended. So she went and bought one. When she came home and told me how much she spent on a toothbrush, I was less than pleased. She also bought additional heads for each one in the family. After the first time of use I can tell you this.... This thing felt great. I have never in my life experienced such a pleasurable dental experience in the bathroom! You know how your teeth feel right after a professional cleaning/polishing? Like that only no powder and mintyer. My teeth and gums now get a 2 min or longer massage twice a day and I love it!
It claimed to naturally whiten teeth and remove plaque, after 2 weeks I can see a big difference! I have never used any typed of whitening system so results may vary. My teeth are now more even in color, something the dentist hadn't been able to do. When I was a kid I chipped my front two teeth. They have had to be repaired once since then, this last time they didn't get the color perfectly matched, the repair was a little whiter. Now after 2 weeks, the repaired that was previously whiter... now appears more yellowish. I'm going to wait 6 months and see how much whiter they get then go have it repaired again just so it matches my new whiter teeth. That's why I had never whitened my teeth before.
It also claimed to reduce/replace flossing. So I brushed with it, and then flossed to see if I got anything. After close inspection of the dental floss there was nothing more than saliva on the floss. I'll still floss once a day, just out of habit but it doesn’t take me as long because I'm not as worried about it now.
So if you want a fresher feeling mouth, with an enjoyable dental experience plus whiter teeth and possiably reduced future dental repairs in your family. I recommend making this investment. I personally couldn't be happier.

lets see some before and after pics of those chompers:
.....I just can't see using something like that....I have yet to see an example where it really does work better than a normal brush....

I wish that I would have taken some before and after pics.
My oldest daughter and I were the main ones to see a significant difference. Wife and youngest daughter did some; but not near as much. They like the way it feels, however my oldest daughter doesn't like using it as much. She says it hurts, but she likes the way her mouth feels afterwards and likes the results.
I would not have in a million years dreamed of seeing any tangiable results. I said pretty much the same thing you did when my wife told me she gave $60 for a tooth brush. The head looks almost exactly like the one on my old OralB Electric. So I was like yea it's just a rechargable electric, I was very skeptical to say the least. But since she paid for it I decided I'd try it. Glad I did now! It feels exactly like the air powered brush that the dentist uses.
I am happy to say I was wrong. I dont feel like she wasted a penny on it now. Trust me, I would much rather use it for ammo if/when I buy something later that I want for me or the family and she gripes about the cost of it and questions if I/we need it.
