Thunder in a snow storm ussually means it's going to be alot!

We got a little dusting last night and has been spitting off and on all day. Sun one minute, snowing the next. I'd love about a 12"-24" snow, maybe it would stay on the ground for a week or so. Kill some of these ticks, chiggers, and mosquitos that have been eating us up for the last couple of years. Plus the ground needs the nitrogen. Our hay yeilds have been waaaaay dwon the last couple of years too.
I'm ready for summer, can't wait for it so I can play with my new lake toys I bought ths winter. But I could wait if it would just snow.

zapster, you wanted it and now we're going to get it. I'll tell you though, it's not as welcome by thoes of us who don't make money because of it.

It looks like you folks out east are going to get slammed pretty good. I guess I'm right on the line betwee the 12 to 18 inches and the 10 to 12 inches. The less the better for me. I can't put a plow on my truck and I have to move the snow the old fashon way. With a shovel.

It is still winter and we are in New England. This is just the way it goes.

It snowed in North east Arkansas for the first time this year yesterday. We only got about 3 inches but It was nice. Most of it is melted now though. I wish we could get about 10 inches, I've never seen more than 5 so that would be awesome

So you've only been there the last 3 or 4 years then....

Stick around long enough you'll see it. You'll wake up one morning to 12" with 2 foot or more drifts. Everybody gets the 4 wheelers out and just has fun.

New years day 8 years ago I drove to Rogers Ark area (about 3 hours away normally) with about 8" of snow and solid Ice. I-44 was even brought to a crawl which was the first time in my life That I have ever seen it not be atleast mostly clear. Got there and my cousin's husband and I got out with some other guys on the 4wheelrs in the field and tied a metal disk sled behind it. Time we got done pulling each other around trying to kill each other that disk was inside out and our butts were bruised.

Ahh it was fun!
