I least he was the one who got it -- usually these bastards walk away without scratch after injuring or killing another innocent person!

Seat belt saved my butt once.

When I was a teenager, I lost control in a Honda Civic. Ended up hitting a concrete bridge piller head-on at 45 MPH. I walked away without a scratch. Well....until my Dad got ahold of me

That's not going to tickle....

I've been envloved in one roll over in a truck with 3 people in the cab.
I was sitting next to the window, non of us had our seatbelts on, we werent going quit that fast about 60-65 or so. When we stopped we were all still sitting exactly how were were, my arm was still resting on the sindow sill. We had to pry the seat out of our butt cheeks. But we all walked away unscratched, Good example why you should work out and do LOTS of squats! You never know when you are going to need to suck an entire car seat up you rear.

I haven't disabled my seatbelt chime because I'm afraid one day I'll forget to wear and something like that will happen.

I had a patient at the hospital some time ago who had a severely fractured femur and a decent head injury from an unrestrained rollover...

When I asked him why he wasnt wearing his seatbelt, he told me in his best redneck accent:

"ahhh we dahnt ware much seatbelt up bah me... my friends un-kill warz killed last week too, meeby I shoulda put it on, aye guess grabbin that there car handle dont work too well"

Dumbass.

Ah, job security.

thats exactly why I don't disconnect mine either! It makes me wear it!

unlike the 02 F150 we have, all you have to do is push in the seat belt buckle and the beeping goes away, which I don't like. It makes people that drive that truck not buckle up half the time.

Wow!

So how does this guy get out of the car.
Thru the windscreen or the window in the door?
The door is still closed imo.
I always wonder that if someone is launched from a car.

And how many feet do you think he was up in the air, pretty much I think.

Dumb enough to run from the cops in a 7400 pound SUV with no chance of escape, dumb enough to do it at high speeds without a seatbelt while bashing other cars making a stupid move, then deservant of the Darwin Award
