We did it for 21 years. Just got use to leaving. New set of orders and off we went. Been living in the same house now for 7 years, starting to get the urge to move again. Hard to stay in one place to long. But in our case, we always did the leaving. Not the same I guess. Had good friends in the military, but just got accustomed to seeing people leave. Fortunately with email I have stayed in touch with a lot of the folks we got close to. With my hubby retiring and having bought the house, I'm wondering if I'll get the itch to be on the road 3 years from now. It's become so ingrained I'll probably be ready to go!!
