At first glance i sort of didn't know how I felt about it...........but the more I look at pictures of the exterior and interior i'm really starting to like it!

I'm looking forward to at least taking a test drive in it............I like to think that I have an open mind unlike others on this forum. I'll keep enjoying my Ford until I feel the need to change. I would imagine that ford will begin to up the ante and start to look in the rearview mirror at Toyota coming up fast.

I don't think it's all that great looking. But then I'm not all that crazy about the '04+ F150 either.

I think this will be a good truck and there will be a lot of people buying them.

I'm a Ford guy but Ford hasn't been at bat for me. I wish they'de been a bit more in tune with the trends but I guess there were a bunch of suits high up in their offices to busy lining their pockets to see that other automakers were building the cars and trucks that people want. I hope Ford can turn this around soon. I get a new vehicle every few years and unless Ford can produce something that fits my criteria, I already know that the other automakers have.

Looks like they went right to the Dodge parts counter for those taillights.(no, must be a toyota original idea )The Japanese always did just copy everyone else. Look at baseball.

Copying is the best form of flattery. While toyota continues to make massive profits all the domestic auto makers continue to offer insentives???. Your statement makes little sence.....

I kinda like it. That 5.7 liter V8 oughta move out pretty good.

And I don't feel comfortable with 9K+ lbs behind any half ton pickup on the market. This is what they make diesel 3/4 ton and one ton pickups for.

How does it make little sense? And who's talking about "massive profits" and "insentives"? I simply stated how the Japs like to copy American things. Is that so hard to understand???

And the term "JAPS" is way outdated dude. If copying makes me money upon money i'll clone your azz in a fast second....

With GM cutting dividends and salaries, and Ford just setting out on the Way Forward, Toyota doesn't have much to look back on. The Japanese automaker reported a 34-percent rise in profits for the most recent Japanese fiscal quarter. The quarterly profit of $3.34 billion could be eclipsed in the coming months if auto sales stay stable and the company continues to draw market share from Ford and General Motors. Toyota plans to invest almost $12 billion in new plants before the end of its fiscal year on March 31, too, which could help it toward its goal of boosting U.S. sales by five percent this year.

Pretty much sums it up

How about them "japs"

Never said anything about Ford not copying anyone. All I was saying is that those tailights look like a dead ringer to Dodge's(particularly Jeep Liberty)Boy,you sure are getting all bent out of shape from my comment.
Sorry if using the term "Jap" is no longer PC, dude.

Just giving you the facts.

look nobody wants to see American automakers lose money, cut jobs, cut benefits or anything else. I love my truck, but when people bash Toyota because they are "japs" or any other foreign automaker I just roll my eyes. My wife has a Lexus, which is owned by Toyota, and IMO is a great, stylish and safe vehicle for my family.

Like I said, I like my truck and all the available mods that we have out there, but people need to keep an open mind. I like the new Tundra and this truck will make Ford, GM and Dodge a better company because it will force them make a better product.

That's great and you certainly can buy/drive whatever you choose. Just keep in mind you are on a Ford website. I'm sure guy's on the Toyota site aren't shy about bashing American iron.

Can't argue with that. I think it's helped a lot in doing just that over the years.
