Coming home today, I'm stuck behind a ragged out POS early '90s Chevy S10 Blazer, trailing smoke as if it were on fire. Once I get out of town and hit 280 on the way home, I kick it up to about 70 or so (in a 55 patrolled by military police) and run away from the smoking gun for a bit. Then this rat bastard runs up along side me and keeps up with me and most everyone else behind me that's trying to follow my lead. Okay, I'll slow down and let him fly by me. Once I slow down to about 60-65, he passes over into the lane I am and holds his speed, dumping smoke all over me. Pass him again and drop the hammer, and he speeds up with me. At one point, there's a line of four vehicles including me running 90 mph or so trying to get away from this heap o chit. I pull up next to the driver and look at him, and he looks back at me as if I was the dumbass. Eventually just before I cross city limits into the town I live in, he turns off onto 27 headed towards Buena Vista.

What a @#^$@!#$!!!!!!!!!!

 

You need to carry a box of roofing nails in your truck for said problem**.

He sure was messing with you all that's for sure....
I would have done the opposite once I realized he was messing with me by
slowing down and letting him get that much more in front of me. I don't
think I would have risked the ticket, ( cuz with my luck the mp's would have pulled me over for speeding rather than pull 'ol crapbox over for violating the
sane driver clause ) ............

 

Man I wouldn't have posted this, I wouldn't want it known that i couldn't outrun that POS.

I followed one of these things a while back, the oil cooler lines were leaking, creating a ton of smoke and oil mist, that found it's way all over the windshield, I hit the wiper/washer just as i realized what was spewing out, but it was to late what a mess.

 

Dang those 04+s must be slower than the older iron if your gettin "smoked" by S10s

Yea.... I think I would have kept that to myself.

 

he did not say he was racing the Chevy. Common sence knows that the new F150's can outrun those S10's anyway.

 

 

Ain't so much not being able to outrun him, I don't need any drama from MPs that roam the roads without nothing better to do.
