They look a lot alike . . . guess female news anchors are all gonna look like that.

Actually, I can't think of any attractive female anchors, but then I don't watch tv news any more.

Yeah, we had another hottie in Dallas named Ashleigh Banfiled; next thing I know, she was on MSNBC (or CNBC, one of them) and she was in Afghanistan...

I heard she won accolades for her work there...
I haven't heard much from her since then.

Another local news celebrity that took it to the top was Rene Syler. She and my wife went to the same hair dresser.

The weather channel keeps at least one hottie in the rotation at all times.
I can't help but notice that; in my line of work, the weather channel is up 24 x 7...

 

Banfield was kind of cute in an odd way (it was those glasses more than anything else)

She made it big with her on scene reporting at the WTC on 9-11. Shot to stardom in no time flat. Then MSNBC sent her to the Middle East.

And like most people who go from 0-60 in 0.0001 seconds, she actually started to believe her own hype. During a speech at some university she said bye-bye to her "journalistic" objectivity, bad mouthed the adminstration, and then bit the hand that fed her by dissing TV news.

Guess Ashleigh wasn't all she thought she was becasue next thing she knew,she fell off the face of the earth.

She ended up on Court TV for a while, then married and squeezed out a puppy recently, stating she is happy being a wife and mom.

However, you don't get to the top of the TV news game without being a total "A" personality.

Give her a year of changing diapers and then you'll see her on Oprah apologizing for how swelled her head got, her total turn around to being able to see how she was wrong about the corporate network system (they'll become the greatest thing ever since sliced bread) she'll praise the vision of whoever is heading said corporate infotainment system at that time, she'll be back on the air within 6 months of that, then off again just as quickly becasue she's no longer young and pretty and perky.
