Kama Sutra worm seduces PC users

The pest includes a timed attack that attempts to disable antivirus and firewall software and delete certain files, including Office documents, on the third day of the month, according to antivirus software vendor F-Secure.

The worm, dubbed W32/Nyxem-E by F-Secure, arrives attached to an e-mail message. It uses a variety of subject lines, including "School girl fantasies gone bad." The body text also varies, but it can include references to the Kama Sutra, the ancient Sanskrit book with pictures and explanations about different sexual positions. The worm executes when the user opens the attachment.

Supposed to trigger on the 3rd of the month . . . that's today!

Cool. I'd love to see computers around the world crash.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be happening.

Another BS story.

Carry on.

It was predicited to be primarily an asian threat, even there if fizzled.

This was far from a zero-day threat that Admins need to worry about.

If someone got caught by this virus they were just sloppy in their virus protection. It has yet to even come knocking on my virtual door....

Haha, we must have a similar job. I recognize that number, I give it out many times a day. Don't forget to tell them it's option #3 for tech support.
