Expressions You Hate

Does anyone have any expressions that you just cringe at when you hear it? (Ex: Duh!) I have a few, but I'd like to hear some of yours.

PS......."suffer catting" doesn't count!
That still cracks me up!!!

I kinda like "shi# happens", because it does happen. I don't like, "it's all good", because it is never all good.

"Get her done"

"You go girl" &

"That's what I'm talkin' 'bout"

all get to me.

"Well said."

'Well said' works as a response to a short concise statement.
Often, I see it used as a 'rubber stamp' for a wandering loquacious dissertation.

Whether or not one agrees with the author, long prose(no matter who writes it) is usually entitled to half a loaf, not the whole loaf.

"I am so ..." is getting so old...

"You're good to go"

and my most recent one is when a waiter/waitress refers to my family and I as "you guys"; i.e.:

"I'm MarySue and I'll be taking care of you guys, can I take a drink order?"

"Would you guys like to start off with an appetizer?"

"I'll be tright back with the drinks for you guys "

This happened last night. Those three exact sentences in that order, from one drone. BTW, my family consists of twomales and three females.. While my daughters have not fully developed yet (down, you perverts) it is easy to tell they are not "guys".

I forgot to add...

"Now, I'm not trying to sell you anything."

&

"But wait, there's more."

"In my humble opinion....."

If you're expressing your idea, concern, etc....you're already stating your opinion, so no need for the advanced warning.

Pretty much anything invented by the MTV pop culture...

"Da bomb"
"all that"
"I'm all about ..."
"That's fresh/fly/dope/sick"

I guess I'm getting old...

I hate when people say "I don't know... You do the math" when what they are explaining has no math involved.

Or, and rappers do this.

They talk about "conversating"

Like Biggie Smalls says "conversate for a few, because in a few we 'gon do what we came to do...?

It's converse. There is no such thing as conversating. It's either conversing, conversation, or converse.
