Drink Responsibly...

Here is my last trip to recycle a few cans......

Any guesses on the weight?

damn! Thats more beer probably in that bed of the truck then I will drink all my life!

I'd say about 100 pounds worth of empty cans??

Mountaineer does that pea in your head rattle around much?

I know I can't sleep on my side because mine gets stuck in my ear.

Actually to guess again dependon on how empty they are i bet it might be in the mid 30's.

Well, since a single empty 12 fluid ounce aluminum can weighs approximately 14.5 grams, or 0.51 ounce, which means there are about 31 empty aluminum cans to a pound, I then look at your picture and try to count the number of cans on the top layer and then estimate how many layers deep your truck bed would be, taking into account the wheel wells, and realize that . . . .

it's impossible to estimate, so like everyone else I am just going to pull a number out of my *** . . .

and say 39 pounds . . .

The question was the weight the of the cans, not your ***...

Like an idiot I was actually reading that expecting some cool scientific way of a semi-accurate estimation. Then you go and throw in a WAG

Do they get heavier or lighter when crushed.
