ANYWAY, how's your mom likin the Mariner?
We have till 6 to bring it back today. It now has a little under 160 miles on it, and it has prooven it's test drive over the last few days. She loves it!

She asked me to come with her to the dealership this afternoon to talk some numbers on the price to buy it. We decided "not" to trade in a windstar as we would only get 300 bucks for it! We'll sell it ourselfs and hopfully make over a grand with it.

Sticker price off the Mariner is 34K, which in both are minds is way way to much for a small SUV like that. My uncle works for Ford and has given us a PIN number to save her money on an A plan. I don't know if you can wheel and deal anymore using A plan, but we'll soon find out. It would be very nice if we can get the price down to 25 or 26K, which seems about right for this SUV.

So if numbers work in our favor today, the suv will stay at the dealership until Monday when that TSB is performed, then we can pick it up soon after.

I have a good feeling thigns are going to work out and yet we will have another ford in the fam!

Actually... no. Actually thats my Dads truck at his house, not mine. Im just keeping it in my sig for who knows why, that and the service truck. I own the Explorer in my sig, unfortunately. But, the good news is that in a few months I will be buying that F-150 you see in the pic and it will have a new home. Thats because his work bought him a service truck that he uses as his daily driver. Right now it stays at my Dads work since there is not a lot of room in his driveway as you can see in the pic. So no, he has no clue where I live. But I know EXACTLY where he lives!!

And YUP, time is running out!

Winter Storm Warning

Hey Neighbor!
RAIN AND SNOW TO CHANGE TO ALL SNOW BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON. EXPECT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF UP 2 INCHES THIS AFTERNOON...ANOTHER 2 TO 4 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED TONIGHT ACROSS THE ENTIRE WARNING AREA TONIGHT. STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL WILL BE 4 TO 8 INCHES BY NOON SUNDAY. IT WILL BECOME WINDY TONIGHT AND THAT WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
A WINTER STORM WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN SEVERE WINTER WEATHER IS EXPECTED. HEAVY SNOW WILL CAUSE HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. IF YOU WILL BE TRAVELING IN THE WARNING AREA YOU SHOULD CHOOSE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE IF POSSIBLE... OR YOU SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION IF TRAVEL IS UNAVOIDABLE.
Hows everyone elses weather?

I was hoping for more then 4-8 :-( I want snow upwards of 18-24 inches like the snow belt is going to get through sunday! Maybe I'll have to drive out Sunday afternoon to the snow belt and plow my way through the roads and see exactly how this AWD does in heavy wet snow! lol!
